Where a urine sample taken under s31A(1A) was properly handled with preserved chain of custody and laboratory analysis detected amphetamine and methamphetamine, the statutory presumption under s37(k) applies and shifts the evidential burden to the accused to rebut on balance of probabilities; the accused failed to rebut, defence assertions were treated as afterthoughts and insufficient to raise reasonable doubt, therefore elements of s15(1)(a) Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 proven beyond reasonable doubt and conviction is warranted.
