The High Court held the Sessions Court was not plainly wrong: prosecution proved the statutory elements by witness testimony, recorded conversations, video and marked money; absence of Amir and CCTV did not attract adverse inference because CCTV was non‑functional and there was no suppression; complainant was not an accomplice as she reported to SPRM and handed over marked money; therefore convictions and sentences under ASPRM were upheld.
