Upon opening of the book of strata register the Management Corporation was established by operation of s.17 STA 1985 and became proprietor of the common property (s.17B); consequently the JMB ceased to have locus standi to sue in respect of common property and the Plaintiff's claim as JMB was plainly unsustainable and liable to be struck out under O.18 r.19 ROC.
