The High Court allowed the appeal under s.18(8) and held that the Arbitral Tribunal lacked jurisdiction to determine disputes and parties that were not within the original matter referred to arbitration; further, by plain reading of s.18(10) the High Court's decision on such an appeal is final and not subject to further appeal, rendering the Notices of Appeal by the 2nd to 5th Respondents incompetent.
