The court exercised its discretion under s.38(4) LAA and held that the State Authority's conceded late service of Form LC (served over seven months after the award) constituted 'special circumstances' justifying enlargement of the six‑week period, and therefore granted the Plaintiff an extension to file objections in accordance with the prayers set out in the originating papers.
