The Corporation erred in refusing to accept the treating surgeon's opinion and in declining approval for the additional procedures; because the treating surgeon examined the patient, performed the operation, recorded intraoperative findings consistent with the need for the procedures and achieved a successful result, the Corporation should have approved and paid for Schedule Nos.179 and 181 in addition to 177.
