The court found ASB had made reasonable and repeated attempts to effect personal service and, under the overriding discretionary power in s357 of the Property Law Act 2007, it was appropriate to dispense with personal service and order alternative methods of service likely to bring the PLA notices to the respondents' attention, subject to the specified condition for one method of service.
