Because the applicants' connection to PWC was indirect and insubstantial, they personally had no connection to the company, they were independent experienced insolvency practitioners subject to firm conflict procedures, and creditors retained rights to challenge, the applicants were not disqualified from appointment; electronic service with postal backup and use of video links were proportionate and appropriate; interim file restraint could be lifted upon appointment.
