The Court held both conviction and sentence appeals must be dismissed because the trial judges did not err: they conducted adequate, reasoned credibility assessments addressing material inconsistencies; their reliance on demeanour was lawful and limited among multiple factors; and the individual and cumulative sentences were within the available range and not manifestly excessive given the gravity and separate harms to two victims.
