The Judge correctly found the mother's evidence did not establish a grave risk that the child's return would place the child in an intolerable situation: expert evidence and independent clinical history did not support a high likelihood of the mother's suicide or of harms rendering the child's situation intolerable, and available supports in Australia and the father's protective role mitigated the risks; the High Court upheld that assessment and dismissed the appeal.
