The court rejects the appellant's contention that interest runs from the date compensation was due for periods where no WINZ payments occurred; WINZ reimbursement information (including confirmation of absence of payments) is integral to the calculation under s101 and the relevant date for interest is when ACC received all necessary information in the course of inquiry (here March 2000), not an earlier historic date; retrospective deeming of receipt of information is not permitted under s101.
