Applying Zhang banding, the judge set a global starting point of seven years (84 months) to reflect aggregate culpability including uplift for transferred charges, declined to apply an uplift for offending while on bail per Crown submission, and reduced the starting point by a total of 42 months for guilty pleas (20 months), rehabilitation/EM bail participation (17 months) and addiction mitigation (5 months), resulting in an effective concurrent sentence of 42 months (three years six months) imprisonment.
