On the balance of probabilities the deceased possessed the requisite testamentary capacity when executing the 23 December 2014 will: contemporaneous medical certification and solicitor evidence established understanding of the act and property; the change in disposition was rationally explicable by longstanding business conflict and perceived mismanagement; subsequent medical records (including a 2017 note of dementia) did not establish incapacity in 2014.
