On 14 October 2016 appellant was no longer serving the sentence for the qualifying offence but was subject to release conditions imposed by the Parole Board which were imposed in part because of risk related to the qualifying offence; parole conditions qualify as 'release conditions' under the Parole Act and sch 1 cl 1(e) therefore applies, making appellant a registrable offender; the District Court did not err and the appeal is dismissed.
