Errors in the warrant were technical and did not render detention unlawful because lawful committal authority existed (the High Court's sentencing order and the Supreme Court's order directing surrender), satisfying s37 Corrections Act; the superintendent's subjective reliance was unnecessary once valid committal authority existed and the applicant had exhausted appeals and was in breach of the Supreme Court order.
