The Court found there is a serious question to be tried about privacy/confidentiality of a court‑sanctioned restorative justice conference and that the balance of convenience and overall justice favor a limited interim injunction restraining RNZ from publishing material from the surreptitious recording or interviews based on it; the injunction is interim, subject to an applicant's signed undertaking as to damages, and RNZ may apply to rescind on three days' notice.
