On objective interpretation of the Allianz policy against the factual matrix the parties intended seamless replacement cover so the Allianz policy incepted at 4:00 pm on 4 September 2010 (the QBE expiry time); in the alternative an implied term fixing inception at 4:00 pm is warranted; rectification was unnecessary; QBE's claim for contribution against Allianz therefore fails.
