The executor must apply the net assets in a manner consistent with the Association's objects and membership criteria (benefit to persons 60+ in Blockhouse Bay and District) but a liberal interpretation of those objects is permitted; accordingly the Court approved specific grants within that framework, directed the executor to make those distributions and granted protection and leave reserved for implementation issues.
