On the balance of probabilities the primary condition requiring surgery was the pre-existing CAM deformity with femoroacetabular impingement causing labral degeneration; the accident did not provide a sufficient causal link to the need for surgery and therefore the appellant is not entitled to ACC-funded surgery.
