On the balance of probabilities the appellant's paraumbilical hernia was caused by the door‑knob impact in December 2006; the treating/operating surgeon's informed opinion and supporting witness evidence outweighed the respondent's contrary medical advisory opinion and an unsupported brief note about a prior two‑year history, so the primary decision denying cover was quashed and substituted with a decision granting cover.
