On the balance of probabilities the weight of competent clinical opinion (Drs Aamir, Broneck and Webb, supported by Dr Frazer's review) did not establish DSM‑IV Axis I diagnoses or that the appellant's mental condition was substantially caused by the 1992 covered injury, and the claim therefore fails the 2001 Act causation requirement and the appeal is dismissed.
