The statement of claim was struck out because it disclosed no reasonably arguable cause of action, amounted to an abuse of process, was unintelligible and reliant on matters the Court cannot adjudicate (including declaring psychiatry to be "quackery" or constraining Parliament), damages under the Mental Health Act are not available as a matter of law, and the plaintiff's standing to sue for his deceased son was doubtful.
