The amended statement of claim was struck out in full because it failed to plead the required particulars and disclosed no tenable causes of action in defamation, NZBORA, Privacy Act or UNCAT as pleaded; additionally Corrections was granted summary judgment in respect of any defamation claim based on statements made by the CANZ president because those statements were made in his union capacity and not attributable to Corrections; defendants awarded costs.
