The August 2017 draft will reflected clear testamentary intentions linked to the deceased's family and property circumstances; credible evidence from the solicitor and partner and absence of any evidence of change at or before death established on the balance of probabilities that those intentions persisted despite a 19-month unsigned period caused by executor selection issues and procrastination; accordingly s 14 was satisfied and the draft was declared the deceased's valid will.
