On balance the Court appointed Grant & Khov because the creditors' majority supported the change, the proposed liquidators demonstrated competence, resources and relevant familiarity, and they will bear the financial risk of further investigations; independence issues and the Assignee's concerns about costs and duplication do not disentitle them and there is no compelling evidence that appointment would prejudice creditors or be futile.
