The court held s72 applies: interest is payable from the date on which the Corporation had received sufficient information to calculate the arrears; on the facts the necessary information was effectively available to the Corporation by 20 April 1998 and interest at 11% is payable from 20 April 1998 up to 14 April 1999 (the date from which interest had been paid). The appellant was also awarded costs of $800.
