The court removed the bankrupt as administrator because he had manifestly failed to assist and had prevented realisation of the estate (including refusing to accept a compliant offer), making removal under s 21(1) expedient to protect creditors and beneficiaries and to enable the Public Trust to administer and realise the estate.
