Rule 31.4 of the High Court Rules governs the proper registry for liquidation applications and requires filing at the registry at or nearest the defendant company's registered office; South River's registered office is at Albany so the Auckland Registry is the proper registry; documents submitted to Dunedin were not filed because filing requires lodging at the proper registry under r1.3(1); r5.1(5) cannot be used before commencement to transfer registry.
