The liquidator's remuneration was approved because the records demonstrated substantial and appropriate work, the rates applied were discounted and largely written off in light of insufficient recoveries, and the claimed amount ($11,171.77 plus GST) fairly reflected the value of services to creditors; accordingly the court grants approval under s 284(1)(e).
