The court was satisfied the 24 October 2014 letter expressed the deceased's testamentary intentions because it was styled as a will, used full names, identified assets and beneficiaries, recorded sobriety, was consistent with earlier documents and was made shortly before death; accordingly the document is validated under s14 Wills Act 2007.
