Specialist medical evidence established that the appellant’s chronic pain disorder and thoracic outlet syndrome were most plausibly caused by a prior whiplash injury rather than by her clerical employment; therefore the statutory causation requirement for a gradual process injury under s7 (1992 Act) was not met and the respondent correctly revoked cover under its s73 power.
