The court was satisfied the draft document expressed the deceased's testamentary intentions because the solicitor received clear instructions and there was no indication of a change of mind before the deceased's sudden death; accordingly s 14 permits validation of the unsigned document, and the application was properly dealt with without notice under r 7.46(3)(e) given notification steps and lack of objection.
