On the balance of probabilities the claimant's exposure to solvents/hydrocarbons in the appellant's workplace contributed to the onset of Goodpasture's Syndrome and the exposure was not present to any material extent in his non-employment environment; therefore the Review Officer correctly applied s.7(1)(a)–(c) and the appeal is dismissed.
