The Court accepted the treating surgeon's opinion that the covered accident precipitated a significant structural change at L5/S1 (advancement of spondylolisthesis with resultant nerve root compression) and that the surgery and associated period of incapacity were causally related to that accident; therefore the review decision denying funding and weekly compensation was quashed and entitlements were established.
