Given the trust had ceased business, held a sole cash asset with no known creditors, had properly advertised the application which was unopposed, and liquidators had consented, it was just and equitable to place the Wainuiomata Licensing Trust into liquidation to enable distribution of the net surplus to the Hutt City Council under s213 Sale of Liquor Act 1989.
