Charles v Accident Compensation Corporation

- District Court
The appeal is dismissed because available expert evidence (occupational and medical assessments) reasonably supported the finding that the appellant was employable as a General Hardware Sales Assistant and that his literacy/cognitive deficits were not shown to produce a significant discount in expected salary; the assessor had taken pre-incapacity earnings into account and there was no reliable competing expert evidence to overturn the assessment.
