Court accepted unanimous psychiatric evidence that defendant was psychotic and legally insane at time of killing, accepted not guilty by reason of insanity, ordered detention as a special patient because untreated mental illness posed significant risk, and granted permanent name suppression narrowly to protect family from undue hardship though extreme hardship to defendant was not established.
