The VIMA (supported by the IMA, vocational assessment and contemporaneous neuropsychological and psychiatric reports) was reliable and, applying a holistic common‑sense assessment of the appellant's condition at the time of the VIMA, the appellant was vocationally independent in specified work types; Dr Berry's contrary opinion was not preferred because it was inconsistent with contemporaneous evidence, speculative and largely based on later self‑reported deterioration.
