The Court held the starting point of 28 months was within the available range for the offending, the uplifts for offending while on release and prior convictions were justified, refusal to discount for restrictive bail was reasonable given subsequent charges while on bail, a five percent guilty plea discount was appropriate given late pleas and benefits obtained, and although concurrent sentences would have been preferable the Judge made totality adjustments; accordingly the overall sentence of two years and four months was not manifestly excessive and the appeal was dismissed.
