Independent radiological confirmation of a subacromial spur together with the Clinical Advisory Panel's analysis demonstrating features of degenerative rotator cuff disease established that the tear resulted from a gradual process and not the 16/12/2010 accident; therefore ACC correctly declined funding and the appeal is dismissed.
