Chinese courts had jurisdiction over the defendants and their judgments are enforceable in New Zealand; summary judgment entered for plaintiff for RMB 20,000,000; the caveat failed because the underlying sale contract was validly cancelled by the Chinese courts and any equitable interest dependent on that contract ceased to exist, and the resulting trust argument failed because the funds were not used to acquire property vesting in the defendant.
