Vivash v Accident Compensation Corporation
- Citation
- [2014] NZACC 276
- Court
- District Court
As at the date of the Corporation decision (29 June 2012) the evidence, including the occupational assessment and the VIMA by Dr Dryson, established that Mr Vivash had the capacity to undertake at least three identified job types for 30 or more hours per week and that his bowel and urinary symptoms and pain did not preclude vocational independence; the Corporation's process and assessments complied with statutory requirements, so the appeal is dismissed and the Corporation and review officer decisions are confirmed.
