Court set a starting point of five years for the two methamphetamine offences and a six month uplift for the firearm (overall starting point 5 years 6 months), declined to uplift for prior convictions, applied discounts (including 15% for personal background, 15% for rehabilitation, and a ten month allowance for lengthy EM bail/curfew and prior custody), resulting in an end sentence of 23 months' imprisonment which was converted to home detention for 11 months as the least restrictive appropriate outcome; forfeiture of the firearm was ordered.
