The court accepted the eye specialist's evidence that the respondent's spraying work was a precipitating and likely cause of his chronic allergic conjunctivitis, that the causal property was not found to any material extent outside work, and that the risk was significantly greater for those performing the spraying task, thereby satisfying s.33(2); the appeal was dismissed.
