Costs up to the judgment of 11 July 2022 lie where they fall because, although the debtor succeeded in obtaining a halt, that halt was granted conditionally and amounted to an indulgence; however, costs incurred after the judgment are awarded to the creditor (Waimauri) because the debtor unreasonably resisted or delayed providing the security ordered, causing additional costs, and those post-judgment costs totalling $11,472 are recoverable by Waimauri.
