Because Mr Li demonstrably continued to display prohibited placards and to harass passers-by after being served with the injunction and after an ex parte order, the Court was entitled to issue a warrant for his arrest, commit him to custody pending a hearing on the contempt and to empower police to seize the placards as evidence.
