The offending was properly placed in the middle of band 3 given the scale, planning/premeditation, victim vulnerability, significant harm and breach of trust; the comparative absence of penile penetration did not require a lower starting point and the resulting sentence of 14 years (minimum 7 years) was within the available range and not manifestly excessive, so the appeal is dismissed.
