On the balance of probabilities the weight of medical and radiological evidence established a chronic degenerative tendinosis (intrasubstance tendinosis) rather than an acute traumatic tendon tear caused by the covered accidents; the treating surgeon's causation opinion lacked sufficient reasoning and imaging support, therefore the Corporation correctly declined funding and suspended entitlements.
