The Court found there is a serious issue to be tried on copyright infringement because visual comparison shows objective similarities in key assemblies and components amounting to reproduction of substantial parts, and there is a plausible causal connection given the involvement of former Sealegs employees and lack of contemporaneous design documents from defendants; the balance of convenience favoured preserving the status quo pending trial, so an interim injunction was granted against specified defendants.
