Section 147(2A) of the 1992 Act requires that no entitlement to lump sum compensation under the 1982 Act exists unless a claim for the personal injury was lodged with the Corporation before 1 October 1992; the appellant did not lodge any claim before that date and the Court has no power to override these statutory time limits, therefore the appellant is not entitled to the 1982 Act lump sum and the appeal fails.
